Are you a naturally inquisitive finance professional seeking an opportunity with high visibility and influence? If so, the Mattel Brands Boys unit is seeking an energetic, self-starting Finance Manager for its Wheels division. This position will report to the Director Finance, but be co-located with the cross-functional team, guaranteeing significant participation and visibility. In this role, you will:

' Manage the financial plan and analysis for key Domestic Boy Brand product lines and support additional lines as required by doing the following:
1. Work effectively with brand groups in the development of annual operating plans, realistic forecasts, and ad-hoc analysis
2. Develop expertise in key Mattel financial and forecasting systems
3. Effectively communicate the business performance against the plan and forecasts
4. Make recommendations to improve business profitability and process flow
5. Represent the Finance point-of-view at cross-functional meetings with business units such as Design, Marketing, Sales, etc.
' Support the development, analysis, and forecasting of the financial plan for the consolidated Domestic Boys Brand; Identify key risks/opportunities to the consolidated plans
' Maintain up-to-date information as it relates to Boys Product Planning Updates and Overhead expenditures
' Provide in-depth financial analysis related to key business unit initiatives
' Supervise team members

' BS/BA required (Finance, Accounting, Economics preferred); MBA preferred
' 3-5 years experience in financial/P&L analysis
' 1-2 years supervisory experience required
' Essbase experience required; Hyperion Enterprise & Planning preferred
' Excel proficiency (modeling and forecasting) required; PowerPoint or other graphics presentation capability preferred
' Experience in consumer products or manufacturing/operations preferred
' Must be proactive, high energy, detailed oriented, and results oriented
' Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of company personnel required
' Willingness to work outside normal responsibilities to achieve desired results required
' Must posses the highest ethical and accuracy standards
' Ability to handle multiple projects
