Negotiations and Pricing Specialist
Negotiations and Pricing Specialist
Unison Administrative Services, LLC, is seeking candidates for the position of Negotiations & Pricing Specialist within our Corporate Strategies group.
The incumbent will perform pricing reviews for all claims negotiated on behalf of nonpar providers and also for services not covered by regulation. This individual will provide secondary support to the Negotiations Specialist as needed and will conduct negotiations for out of state products. The incumbent must understand benefits as they relate to state specific programs and must be able to perform cost benefit analysis in order to determine appropriate fees. Strong communication and marketing skills required, as well as the ability to interact with multiple departments, including Claims, Utilization Management and Provider Relations. Work environment is fast-paced and deadline oriented, requiring the incumbent to multitask and work independently and as a team member.
Job requirements include a Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Health Policy or Finance and/or a combination of education and experience; Experience with Microsoft Office Products and 2-3 years experience or training with the some or all of the following: Managed Care, Medicare/Medicaid, Health Care Codes (i.e. CPT, ICD-9, DRG, etc.), Medical Terminology, knowledge of state and/or federal regulations in regard to standard payment terms for TPL, COB and other related laws.
