Summary of Responsibilities:
Applies practical and theoretical pricing and reserving knowledge and actuarial analysis to property and casualty insurance products.

Major Duties and Functions Include:
Gathers and organizes data
Reviews rates, rules and loss experience to develop and implement rate revisions
Performs fundamental coding, some competitive analysis, and univariate research
Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

What You Need to Succeed:

Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related discipline
1-3 years insurance industry experience (pricing experience with a Property Casualty Insurer is preferred)
Candidate should have a good knowledge of P&C insurance products
Strong math and analytical skills
Outstanding organization skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Excellent communication skills

*We have an Actuarial Development program available to eligible candidates that assists in developing their actuarial skills as well as ultimately attaining Fellowship of the Casualty Actuarial Society. Our program provides for advancement and career enhancement based on individual performance and potential. Our Actuarial Rotation Program provides eligible candidates opportunities to master disciplines such as reserving, research and modeling and financial forecasting.
