The Project Control Supervisor will play a key role within the Oak Ridge internal

Project Controls function.

This position will be located in Oak Ridge, TN, near Knoxville.

 

The Position:

?  Take the lead in planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size, complexity and level of risk.

?  Supervise a team of eight (8) Project Control professionals and provide direction and guidance to the team, including mentoring and training of best practices.

?  As a key team leader, interact significantly and collaborate with all disciplines across the Business including Program Management, Technical Staff, Finance, Accounts Receivable, Contracts, Procurement and Human Resources

?  In support of projects, responsible for developing and implementing financial policies and procedures

?  Responsible for the reporting and analysis related to setting up and tracking project profitability.

?  Directly contributes to the development of policies and procedures

?  Forecast financial data for programs or contracts

?  Establish and maintain cost/schedule baselines

?  Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and related dictionaries

?  Perform Estimates at Completion (EAC)

?  Develop Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs)

?  Implement Earned Value methodologies

?  Perform related variance analyses

?  Perform risk management, including the development of Quantitative Risk Analysis Matrices (QRAMs).

?  Perform projection analyses of cash flow and profitability for projects

?  Provide schedule and RLN support for new business proposal development through a review process

 

Required Skills / Experience:

?  Minimum of 8 years related experience in project controls / finance field.

?  Proven financial management skills

?  Ability to research, analyze and complete complex assignments

?  Comprehensive knowledge of varied contract types.

?  Familiar with SOX EAC requirements (accruals, commitments, overall processes, procedures and IFS)

?  Possess a good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)

?  Experience in staff management and ability to provide leadership and mentoring

?  Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment

?  Effective written and verbal communication skills are critical

?  Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.

 

Desired Skills / Experience:

?  Strong Project Controls experience

?  Comprehensive knowledge of varied contract types including Firm Fixed Price,  Fixed Price Level of Effort, Time and Materials, and hybrid contracts
