Senior Financial Analyst - Malvern, PA

The position is located in Malvern, PA

 

The purpose of the department is to partner with management on maximizing shareholder value through effective Planning/Forecasting, integrated measurement and analysis, and communication and consultation.

 

The scope of this job is to research, diagnose and relate financial and operational issues in support of the department's mission statement. Financial Analysts prepare financial models and provide consultation to senior management and peers regarding trends, forecasting and future impacts.

 

The individual will be responsible for

 

1. Research, diagnose and relate financial and operational issues.

2. Quantify and articulate change recommendations.

3. Research on topics based on review of trends.

4. Writing analysis and narratives; Creating and presenting storylines.

5. Participating in the development of strategies to achieve plan.

 

The skills required are:

 

1. Intermediate - Analytical

2. Intermediate - Written and Oral Communication

3. Intermediate - Problem solving

4. Intermediate - MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)

5. Intermediate - Advanced Mathematics

 

Experience Required:

1-2 years prior financial analyst experience.

 

Computer Proficiency:

Excel - ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets. PowerPoint - graphs, tables, information reports in slide form.

Experience in Access-based databases a plus.

 

Education:

Masters/MBA - Preferred

Major preference: Finance, Mathematics, Economics
