Senior Lender

Summary Description

Develops and maintains a variety of business (commercial, construction and agriculture) and individual relationships with prospective and existing customers.  Counsels current and prospective customers on loan management and beneficial financial strategies.  Develops new business and increases/retains existing business relationships. 

 

Job Duties:

We are looking for top talent to join our de novo bank, located at 4222 E. Camelback Road, Az.

 

1. Solicits new commercial loans, deposits and relationships, extends credit within loan limits, refers credit to superior or loan committee for credit outside of loan authority, services existing customer accounts, performs regular reviews and or inspections of existing credits and follows-up on past due or watch list credits.  Manages large or complex commercial loans.

2. Follows current loans to ensure complete compliance with terms.  Makes decisions on loans and terms within established lending limits and recommends to loan committee.  Serves as a voting member of the Loan Committees.

3. Identifies potential new business from prospective customers and existing customers, systematically calls on targeted individuals for business development opportunities and effectively cross sells existing customers. Administers or refers customers to all credit, deposit and other financial services and products offered by the bank.

Knowledge Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field

2. 5-10 years commercial credit or lending experience with local portfolio and developed relationships

3. Advanced knowledge of Commercial Lending and Credit Administration

4. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
