Sr. Financial Analyst

Darden Restaurants Inc., the world's largest casual dining restaurant company is currently searching for a Sr. Financial Analyst for the Olive Garden divisional offices in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

.Work directly with Division management teams to develop strategies for improving earnings.Identify and support restaurants that are not meeting their earnings potential.Provide unwavering support to Directors of Operations to help maintain high operational standards.Provide financial analysis/support to the Division Senior Vice President.Help the division keep focus by providing a monthly tracking supplement to the P & L and other financial reports for the management teams, Directors of Operations and Senior Vice President.Work closely with the Senior Vice President on the annual Divisional Business Plan and General & Administrative Budget.Conduct regular coaching and development sessions with restaurant managers to continually improve divisional labor, waste, and earning performance.Track daily restaurant performance to identify trends and evaluate the results in relation to defined goals and targets.Provide month-end analyses identifying opportunity areas and reviewing restaurant expenses to ensure accurate monthly reporting.Provide weekly and monthly financial estimates based on trends, promotions and testing.Conduct on-site audits to help ?high-risk? restaurants improve their control procedures and cash handling skills.Take on special project and analysis as required.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills.Knowledge of restaurant operations.Skilled in both PC and mainframe computer systems.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:Background that includes analytical assignments1 to 3 years experience in Financial/Accounting AnalysisBachelor?s Degree

 

OTHER:Extensive travel required (40% if the time)Accounting/Financial degree preferredMBA a plusRestaurant Operations Experience, a plus
