Institutional Investment Consultant

The objective of the Retirement Investment Services group is to assist Corporate Services Clients in the monitoring and selection of the investment options within their retirement plans.  RIS also plays a critical role as the internal expert in the acquisition of new business for Corporate Services through prospect portfolio analysis and presentations throughout the sales cycle.

 

The Institutional Investment Consultant will be responsible for assisting current Corporate Services Clients in creating and monitoring their plan investment lineups in the mid and large plan market ($60mm+) through periodic investment reviews, implementation tools, and other related consulting.  The position will also periodically involve direct participation in sales meetings to discuss investment platforms, and begin developing potential fund lineups for prospects.  There will be travel up to 50% of the time throughout the Western Region of the United States.  Position is based in Phoenix, AZ.

 

Requirements:

 

Existing Series 7/63 license, CFA, CFP required.

Strong knowledge of the financial markets, macro economic factors, risk/return fundamentals, and portfolio theory.

6+ years investment (401K) experience within the Defined Contribution industry HIGHLY preferred.

Strong knowledge of Morningstar Principia and Zephyr software.

Effective oral and written communication skills; strong analytical skills

Extremely skilled at balancing the needs of clients/prospects, consultants, and company.
