Senior Financial Analyst

This position provides the firm?s management with comprehensive, detailed analyses and recommendations relating to the broker dealer?s business management functions.  Responsibilities include the following:

 Collaborate with managers across the organization, including those at affiliated firms, to plan, collect and analyze data, and prepare and present reports and recommendations.

 Prepare cost benefit analysis, financial projections and forecasts, business modeling, industry pricing studies and other business reports and schedules needed to manage the firm and help set its direction.  Specific focus on business modeling and profitability for Transition Suites, Business Development initiatives, Advisory Services initiatives, advertising and rep recruiting, with recommendations on improvements and ?next generation? plans (i.e., strategic initiatives).

 Analyze and discuss with business owners current revenue and expense structure, trends, competition, with the goal of developing opportunities for increasing revenue and controlling expenses. Support implementation of revenue enhancement and expense management initiatives as needed.

 Make recommendations as to customer pricing, costs and expenses based on trends, industry comparisons, etc.

 Provide analytical support of business plans, including financial and business targets, and other departmental initiatives.

 Participate in firm leadership, other staff meetings and in business planning.

 Education: B.S. in finance, accounting or economics. Prefer M.B.A.

 Experience: 5 ? 7 years of experience as financial analyst, business analyst or similar background. Prefer project management experience and background in financial services or brokerage operations.
