RTI International has an immediate need for an individual to help perform economic analysis of homeland security policy issues. This position requires a BS/BA degree in economics with extensive mathematics and statistics coursework (at least 18 hours in total) and at least one year of experience.Individuals with a degree in mathematics or statistics may apply, but the applicant must have taken at least 30 hours of economics coursework.
The ideal candidate will have an interest, and possibly some experience, in analyzing homeland security or regulatory issues and policies. Candidates must have strong quantitative skills and experience in statistical software packages, ideally SAS or STATA.
The position will be based in Washington, DC and will pay a salary of $44k. Pay could increase with additional degrees and/or experience. We intend to fill this position as soon as possible.
