Annualized Salary Range ($57,058-$68,250)
POSITION
This is a full time FLSA exempt position with benefits.
DUTIES
Performs short and long-term project budgeting, planning, assignment, and coordination for the permitting section; supervises the work of permitting staff related to submittal acceptance, routing, tracking, permit issuance, completion of forms, filing, record retention, procedures and customer service and computer permitting systems; provides information, advice and support to department staff and Town management related to the permitting process, including reports of permitting activity; performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor?s Degree in public administration, construction management, engineering, architecture, planning, or related field and four years related experience with at least two years supervisory experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Requires knowledge of municipal building permitting process and computer permitting systems, Town?s ordinances, policies and procedures, International Building Codes and the requirements for residential and commercial construction, basic budgeting principles and processes and customer service principles.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a valid Arizona driver?s license or have the ability to obtain one prior to the start of employment.
Satisfactory completion of fingerprinting, background check, drug testing and driving record check.
