DIRECTOR OF BILLING & OPERATIONS

 

PracticeMax, a forward looking medical billing company in Scottsdale, AZ, specializes in physician-based billing. We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Billing and Operations Director.

 

This pivotal role requires an individual with the ability to analyze systems and processes as well as maintain effective and efficient billing/collection operations while creating a positive work environment.  This position is responsible for directing and providing hands-on supervision and coordination of daily operations including billing and collections for a department with 30 + staff.  Specific responsibilities include A/R management, hiring, training, and evaluating personnel, and creating and maintaining polices, procedures, and processes.

 

Applicant must have a thorough understanding of payor systems, insurance, government, and managed care plans, Microsoft Office applications, and FDCPA.A successful candidate will be an energetic and dedicated professional with proven leadership, management, customer service, and communication skills.

 

Knowledge of billing information technology, A/R analysis, and regulatory industry standards is a must.  Candidate must possess a demonstrated ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.  Proficiency in Word, Excel, or Crystal and 5 + years experience in supervising physician billing is desired.  Bachelor?s degree preferred.
