Leading Hospice Provider Seeks Area Administrative Services Advisor

We are currently seeking an Area Administrative Services Advisor for our West Region.? Must be able to travel between Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas.

The Area Administrative Services Advisor, in conjunction with area and program leadership, oversees and facilitates effective administrative compliance, quality and education programs within the assigned area.

?Principal AccountabilitiesTrains sites regarding orientation, remedial, routine and ongoing education for all administrative disciplinesIdentifies trends in field sites that require corrective action to address knowledge and application shortfalls in collaboration with Education & Training Advisor (ETA)Serves as an area liaison between ETA, Executive Directors Area Vice President, Office Managers and Patient Services Associates regarding administrative compliance issues.Serves as a site resource regarding compliance related questions in consultation with Home Office Quality & Performance Excellence Department.Maintains current knowledge related to Medicare, Medicaid, state hospice regulations, and CLIA as related to hiring requirements and licensing.Uses existing administrative mock survey process in programs to assure that documentation and processes are meeting VistaCare policies, procedures and guidelines.Ensures staff receives appropriate education and training and demonstrates competencies.Provides administrative education and training to appropriate program personnel in collaboration with appropriate Home Office departments.Supports consistent practices, processes and messages company-wide.Participates on appropriate task forces, work groups and committees.Adheres to VistaCare Standards of Conduct. Has a duty to report any potential misconduct or violation of VistaCare Standards of Conduct or federal or state laws and regulations. Has a responsibility to participate in staff training and education programs. Performs other duties as assigned Provides administrative education and training to appropriate program personnel in collaboration with appropriate Home Office department. Supports consistent practices, processes and messages company-wide. Participates on appropriate task forces, work groups and committees.

QualificationsMust live in assigned geographic VistaCare area. Two years administrative experience, preferably in a medical environment. Supervisory experience preferred. One year Office Manager experience preferred. Bachelor?s degree preferred. Demonstrated excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Internet and e-mail. Demonstrated ability to manage projects. Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills. Education and training experience required. Reliable transportation, current driver?s license and current auto insurance.Ability to travel 80% of the time.
