Due to our tremendous growth, we are currently hiring at various locations. We have 32 medical sites located throughout the Greater Los Angeles, Pasadena/San Gabriel Valley, South Bay, Long Beach, and San Fernando Valley area.

Responsible for performing patient oriented procedures under the supervision of a provider, registered nurse, and/or licensed vocational nurse to ensure that patients receive appropriate care.

Directs patient to proper exam/treatment area; prepares patient for examinations and other procedures.
Obtains, records and reports vital signs, (temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure) height, weight and any other pertinent patient information to the Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse or provider.
Administers medication within the scope of practice of a medical assistant/limited licensed technician.
Instructs patients on procedural preparation under the supervision of the provider.
Performs various patient tests and procedures within the scope of practice of a medical assistant/limited licensed technician.
Collects, labels and transports various specimens to appropriate destination.
Maintains and cleans exam/treatment areas and medical equipment.
Maintains logs and other records of medical procedures.
Assists in transportation of patients and patient flow.
Orders and maintains inventories of supplies.
Performs clerical duties such as obtaining telephone messages and returning patient calls under the supervision of a provider.
Performs additional duties as a limited licensed technician including but not limited to selecting the appropriate MAS to allow minimal radiation exposure and positions patients for obtaining undistorted radiographs that demonstrates the area of interest.
Maintains and wears current radiation exposure badge at all times.
Knowledgeable of all applicable equipment.
Maintains high standards of radiation safety.
Adheres to Universal Precautions at all times.
Adheres to safety policy and procedures at all times.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Current California limited x-ray permit.
Phlebotomy certification.
One or two years of post-high school education or degree from a two-year college.
Over 1 year and up to and including 3 years of experience.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers.
