ARNP Nurse Practioner Company Care Occupational Health

Largo Medical Center is recruiting for a high energy individual to work in Company Care, our Industrial/Occupational Health clinic setting to provide specialty care to all occupational health patients; Corporate services, worker's compensation and screening of musculo-skeletal injuries. Must understand Case Management duties and promote all areas of occupational health.

 

Job qualifications include:
 
o Current licensure as an RN, certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse from the state of Florida 
o Knowledge in workers compensation case management, policy & procedure development/implementation
o Graduate from an accredited Clinical Nurse Specialist/Nurse Practitioner program
o Certification for Clinical Nurse Specialist (if granted after 12/31/95)
o Minimum 3 years of advanced practice nursing experience
o Experience in management or education preferred
o Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
o Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
o Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational & communication skills; computer literate.
