As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Exempla Lutheran Medical Center, you'll be joining a team dedicated to delivering the best possible healthcare for our patients, through safe, supportive practices. The best people, the best hospitals - they go together.

Our Place
The Licensed Practical Nurse opening is in our Hospice/Residence Facility. This brand new inpatient licensed 24-bed unit is a stand-alone facility located on the ELMC campus. This inpatient facility provides multidisciplinary care for hospice appropriate patients, usually but not limited to patients over the age of 60. This unit is staffed with a solid team of RNs, LPNs,CNAs and an essential group of volunteers.

Your Position
To fulfill this role as a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll work alongside other Hospice staff to provide compassionate health care services to patients and their families with severe, end-of-life situations.

Like you, we value safety and support. As a newly hired Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll be precepted by a stable, unit-experienced staff and surrounded by a mentoring environment combined with an operational "what's best for the patient" attitude.

Minimum Qualifications
Current Colorado Licensed Practical Nurse
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of nursing home experience or experience of varied and increasing skill level required within an acute inpatient setting or other significant end-of-life care setting
