Nurse Auditor LVN/Registered Nurse Financial Service Area

HRG is currently seeking an experienced Nurse Auditor for the Los Angeles and Orange County areas to perform the Financial Chart Audit process. These positions are direct hire and or interim to perm opportunities.

 

The incumbent for this position will have a minimum of three years experience performing audits to ensure maximum achievable reimbursement. Analyze debits, credits, and disagreements (defense audits). With insurance company Auditors.  Insures accurate data collection for reporting purposes from various departments is within charging practices and departmental policies.  Reviews remittance advices for denials and the appeal process. Reviews charge Master for accuracy of information.  Finalizes department audit summaries and is a facitator with Nursing & ancillary departments to establish optimal billing methods that meet with billing compliance standards (regulations).  Has knowledge of CPT, ICD9-CM, HCPCS coding structures. Well versed in Commercial and Government Insurances.

 

LVN and or R. N. Degree in Nursing Field Required. Three years of Audit Experience.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Candidate will process excellent audit, organizational & analytical skills.

Ability to communicate with all levels of Management, Nursing, Ancillary, Financial Service Staff and to include outside parties.
