Job Title: Underwriting Assessor (Per-Diem)
Underwriting Assessment Services at LifePlans, Inc.

LifePlans, Inc. subcontracts with individual nurses and agencies throughout the United States and Canada to conduct long-term care underwriting assessments in insurance applicants? homes.? The purpose of the assessment is to obtain information about the applicant, which assists our insurance clients in making decisions about issuing the policy.? The assessments are conducted within each assessor?s chosen geographic region.?

Key Responsibilities

????????? Conducting the underwriting assessment using the LifePlans, Inc. assessment tool

????????? Calling applicants to schedule appointments

????????? Reporting assessment status to LifePlans, Inc. in a timely fashion when requested by Home Office Staff

????????? Traveling to applicants? homes and arriving on time

????????? Bringing equipment along to assessments to measure the applicant?s height, weight, and blood pressure

????????? Adhering to time standards while conducting oneself courteously and professionally

????????? Return completed assessments to LifePlans, Inc.

Education Requirements

LifePlans, Inc. contracts with Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Licensed Vocational Nurses with ideally at least two years of ?hands-on work experience with the elderly population.
