Staff Nurse (on-call)

Administers test material to study subjects. Insert IVs. Performs venipuncture, vital signs, ECGs, weights, status checks, simple laboratory procedures, etc. as specified by the protocol. Observes subjects for general well-being and potential adverse events. Documents adverse events and takes appropriate action as needed. Records data obtained. Monitors meals to ensure dietary compliance by research volunteers. Serves as team leader to ensure all tasks are completed for that shift. Participates in change of shift report and walking rounds. maintains a clean, safe, and efficient work area and research unit. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
RN plus 0-1 years of experience or LPN degree plus 1-2 years experience.
Licensed in State of Hawaii.
