Director of Laboratory

This position oversees the administrative and operational areas of the clinical & pathology laboratories. The Laboratory Director will direct the activities of the laboratory in order to meet the requirements set forth by the job description. He will be responsible & accountable for the financial performance of the departments. He is responsible for insuring that lab services meet the needs of the hospital.

 

Current knowledge of laboratory regulations & NCCLS procedure writing is preferred. Knowledge of regulatory agency requirements (CAP, JCAHO, CLIA). Valid state of California Scientist license. At least 5 yrs management exp is desirable. Master?s degree preferred.
