Emergency Dept Tech II

Overview : Full Time: Nights. (7:00pm to 7:30am) 36 hours/week
Transition (White) Zone/Holding

Responsibilities :

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain a clean and well-stocked environment; assist with advanced level patient care within their scope of training; obtains blood specimens from ED patients, assist Emergency Physician and orthopedic/plastic surgeons with procedures. Maintains patient confidentiality. Demonstrates the ability to provide described services competently to the age groups serviced by the department. Service excellence behaviors are exhibited in all aspects of the performance of the job.

Qualifications :

Past education and experience as EMT or EDT preferred. Previous experience as PCT, Med Assistant, Lab Tech or Phlebotomist preferred. Must have current CPR.
