We are currently seeking a Lab Director for our laboratory in Providence Hospital, Washington, DC to manage the accuracy and reliability of all laboratory services.  Within this integral role, you will also direct the supervision, training and development of laboratory personnel; plan and schedule the activities of the department; assume responsibility for the proper application of laboratory policies and procedures; and operate the department on a cost-effective basis. 

 

To qualify, you must possess:MT (ASCP) or equivalent for certification as a general laboratory supervisor, with a proven performance record managing a hospital laboratory, and at least 5 years of management experience.  Graduate degree or course work in business administration or related field is highly desirable.
