We have an opening in our Oakland, California manufacturing facility for a Pipette Repair Technician.

 

 

You will test, clean, repair, re-assemble, and calibrate hand-held mechanical liquid measurement instruments used in research laboratories. Conduct mechanical and electronic measuring, recording and inspection on pipettes serviced to ensure conformance to established specifications.  This position requires manual dexterity, a high productivity level, flexibility, and attention to detail.  You will be required to follow instructions, pay attention to quality and communicate effectively.

 

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Manufacturing and/or electronic experience preferred. Must have the ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally in English. Be able to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.  Should have a basic knowledge of computers.  You may be required to work Saturday or Sunday as a part of your shift.
