Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant

LaSalle Medical Associates has a full-time position available.  Position includes Vacation, Sick time, Holiday Pay, Retirement + Match,  plus Medical and Dental, and a flex spending account. Bilingual a plus must posses ability to multi-task.  Must have good organizational skills.  Responsible for timely processing of patients, taking vitals, rooming patients, injections and caring out any orders per Physician.  Must be able to be efficient and productive in a fast pace environment.  Must acquire Managed Care knowledge.  Experience in OB/Gyn, Family Practice and Pediatrics a plus.  Completeness of the nursing portion of the medical records with accuracy.  This position will be required to draw blood on occasions and process specimens in Laboratory.  Must be familiar in drawing blood on infants, children, and adults.  Must be a team player with a positive attitude.  Reports to the Department Supervisor.
