RCP IV

Overview : This position is responsible for independently providing respiratory care and diagnostic testing to patients with respiratory and/or cardiac disorders. The practitioner will understand and apply techniques of respiratory therapy, conduct assessments and make recommendations regarding care. This practitioner is considered a resource person and specialist, who, in addition to clinical care, provides assistance with departmental activities, quality improvement, development of policy/procedure, and is responsible for completion of daily work assignments by staff in the area assigned. This practitioner will care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, dependent upon area of assignment. Qualifications :

Requires a Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential with a current Arizona license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Two years critical care experience. Must perform competently and independently in all respiratory procedures. BCLS required, ACLS, PALS or NRP certification preferred. Hemodynamic monitoring experience preferred.
