AEMR Support Specialist (Ambulatory Electronic Medical Records)

There is currently an outstanding opportunity for you as an AEMR Support Specialist with our Medical Group.

Under the direction of the Director, Ambulatory Electronic Medical Records, the AEMR Support Specialist functions as the primary backup to the Help Desk in supporting the AEMR project.  Performs second level diagnostics and routes problems to Business Analyst/Technical Staff as needed.  Participates as necessary in the development of end user training materials.  Develops and documents test plans for Test and Live environments (includes the testing of workflow processes, application and setup testing, print and fax testing, interface testing).  Completes ongoing documentation of new processes and procedures.  Enter/monitor cases in vendor's tracking system.

EDUCATION:  High School Diploma, or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:  Prior experience in a health care setting preferred.  IDX experience preferred, but not required.
