Contract Clinical Medical Coder in Irvine, California
Contract Clinical Medical Coder in Irvine, CAThis is a full time contract position for at least 6 months for a great company!
Requirements: Working knowledge of coding dictionaries (e.g. MedDRA) and understanding of the coding process Familiarity with medical terminology related to adverse events to be able to code correctly Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good computer skills including Excel and database experience (e.g. Oracle Clinical, TMS)
Responsibilities: Work on MedDRA coding conversion project coding of adverse events. Spreadsheets and Medical terminology will be accessed and appropriate standardized medical dictionary codes will be applied using Oracle Clinical based software TMS (Thesaurus Management System). Candidate will assist with other projects/activities related to medical coding and dictionary maintenance.
