Medical Biller

Exciting opportunity for a Collections Specialist with 2+ years of collections experience. Position requires an understanding of Medicare, Medi-cal, and Private insurance collections policies, procedures and best practices; financial transaction processing; knowledge of basic submission procedures and customer service skills. Working knowledge of PBAR, Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook is a plus. Responsibilities include reviewing and evaluating the status of customer accounts, contacting insurances for payment of past due invoices, setting-up and maintaining new customer accounts and researching and resolving conflicts such as denials invoices, incorrect claims, procedure codes and other discrepancies that delay payment.
