Sales Executive/Electronic Medical Records/Medical Software

COMPANY INFO: A rapidly growing publicly held company providing computer-based practice management and electronic medical records systems to more than 1,000 physician practices across the country.  The company offers a range of products and services that help physicians and their office staff manage patient records, billing, scheduling, and other administrative operations. Its Electronic Data Interchange service automates patient billing statements, correspondence, and appointment reminders. Its Electron Medical Records system can help can manage patient information and adds functionality, such as faxing, data transfer, and eligibility verification for small or large medical practices.

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Selling ambulatory care practice management and medical records information systems, with a minimum of 3 years of verifiable quota performance. 

Market software products and services to the healthcare community (includes institutional, professional and allied health specialties).

Develop new client base within designated territory. 

Work with internal and external contacts to improve client satisfaction. 

Successfully work independently yet is a part of a team of professionals.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Highly motivated self-starters with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Formal presentation skills before small and large groups, demonstrated problem solving ability and negotiation skills (with special emphasis on closing sales).

Experience managing territories and state-of-the-art products, good follow-through and time management skills, and attention to detail.

3+ years actively selling practice management or EDI services and/or EMR software to physician practices, hospitals and/or home health agencies.

Healthcare experience and systems experience preferred.

Full understanding of the operations of a physician office and staff.
