Optical Lab Lead Technician

POSITION

We currently have a Lead Laboratory Technician career opportunity at our York, Pennsylvania location.  This position will involve working in all aspects of our lab using the most advanced equipment currently available to the production laboratory.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES

Produces quality eyewear.  Monitors work flow and quality, Uses skills for efficient tracing, blocking, edging, drilling, tinting, polishing and inspecting.  Assists training in these skills.  Calibrates and maintains equipment following SOPs.  Maintains organized and clean workspaces.  Uses skills and experience to continually improve efficiency and quality.  Works using team approach to troubleshoot and improve.

 

QUALITFICATIONS

Must have a minimum of two years experiance in eyewear fabrication.

 

Must have schedule flexibility for overtime.

 

Must have ability to follow procedures and work quickly in a fast paced environment.  Must have ability to cultivate efficient, quality driven team.
