Payroll Administrator

Empire Vision Centers is seeking an experienced Payroll Adminstrator ot join our team of professionals at our Corporate offices in Syracuse, NY.  Empire Vision is one of the largerst Optical Retail chains in the Northeast with 90 locations throughout New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania.  This exciting position will be responsible for processing payroll for all of our 1200 associates at our Vision Center locations and corporate office.

Additional Responsibilities:Keypunch data into Ceridian system accurately and transmit to Ceridian.Verify completed payrolls for accuracy and request garnishment checks.Package pay checks for distribution.Process bi-weekly download of YTD payroll information from Ceridian. Create and manage multiple reports using Ceridian.Reconcile payroll account on a monthly basis.Report necessary information to various state agencies in regards to unemployment, etc. and verify payments made.Process any necessary manual checks.Prepare other payroll related reports as necessary.Run and audit associate union dues deduction report to ensure that dues are accurate.Support and respond to internal and external customer opportunities in a timely manner.Adhere to privacy and confidential and proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA).

Requirements:

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years payroll administrator experience with multi-state responsibilities.  Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.  Ceridian experience preferred.  Please apply online at www.envisionyourselfhere.com.
