Pharmacist - Nights

Sharp Memorial Hospital is the flagship hospital of the Sharp HealthCare System with extensive and complex medical-surgical patient type. Pharmacy is a 24-hour, seven days a week operation. Decentralized distribution model with PYXIS profile. Extensive pharmacy clinical services including anticoagulation, antibiotic surveillance, nutritional support, pain management, pharmacokinetics and renal dosing. Sharp Memorial Hospital's Pharmacy offers an excellent clinical program which allows for a very "hands on" approach for our Pharmacists. Our program includes Pharmacokinetics, Antibiotic Surveillance, Nutritional Support, Anti-coagulation, Renal Target and Pain Management. We offer certification in all these areas.

 

We are seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacist for the night shift.  This is a 10-hour shift; 09:00 pm - 7:30 am., every other weekend position. 

Position requires:  Bachelor?s degree in Pharmacy required. Current California Pharmacy license required. Current CPR certification required.  One year experience in a hospital pharmacy environment.  Able to maintain close communication with physicians, nursing staff and patients required. Ability to work in a complex and fast paced environment.   Manage fluctuating workload and technicians.

Applicant may be eligible for $25,000 sign on bonus and/or relocation reimbursement. Sharp employee eligible for $500 referral bonus
