Pharmacist (Per Diem)

A unique setting for a pharmacist who would like to experience the practice of pharmacy without the usual constraints. Shriners Hospitals for Children Los Angeles http://www.shrinershq.org/Hospitals/Los_Angeles/ provides it's staff the time and resources to assure the highest quality of continuous care for its patients. Staff work with patients to improve their lives in a controlled, orderly environment. This is a rare opportunity to see the mission of Shriners Hospitals for Children in action.

* No patient insurance (billing or charges)

* No graveyard or weekend shifts

* No rapid influx of patients, as we have no emergency room or ICU

* Cheerful working environment as we treat children having elective surgery

The ideal candidate will be self motivated and quality driven, capable of working both the impatient and outpatient areas of pharmacy, with some knowledge of pediatrics. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Must have a current valid California pharmacist license. Must have some availability between the hours of 9am-6pm Monday through Friday.

All final candidates will be expected to take and pass a background check, physical, drug screen, TB test, and blood work panel. No relocation package available. No agencies, please. EOE
