Due to an increase in census, we are adding another position for a motivated candidate that can contribute and use the knowledge they have gained to improve patient care throughout the facility. Downey Regional Medical Center, a not for profit community teaching hospital, offers a wide variety of services (heart center, cath lab, E.D., neonatal, etc.), is proud to have cared for the residents of our community for more than 80 years. The Pharmacist must be clinically versed and well organized while possessing excellent operational and communication skills, knowledge of JCAHO/Title 22, and the ability to work closely with physicians and other health care providers in a collegial environment. The Pharmacy staff has an average tenure of 9 years and is managed by an excellent team.

Qualifications
Excellent communication skills; thorough knowledge of pharmacokinetics and pharmacology. Experience monitoring patients receiving TPN, aminoglycosides, antibiotics, etc. preferred  Computerized inpatient pharmacy experience preferred  Licensure required
