The Apothecary Shops are currently looking for qualified candidates for our Grayhawk (Scottsdale Road and Thompson Peak), Scottsdale (91st Street and Mountain View) and Arrowhead (59th Ave and Bell) locations.  Entry level, lead technician, and compounding technician positions are available!

 

**A Technician-in-Training License or Certified Pharmacy Technician License is required for ALL Positions!!

 

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:Assist the Pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy Input patient data and medication orders into the computer system Field incoming telephone calls Contact insurance companies to determine patient coverage Contact other medical personnel regarding patient medications

 

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must be reliable, goal oriented and possess the skills needed to work independently as well as with a team.  Effective organizational and problem solving techniques and strong customer service skills are a must.

A qualified candidate must be a high school graduate or have a GED certificate, and be a Certified Pharmacy Technician or become certified within 6 months of the date of hire. 

 

Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred but not required.
