-This includes experience in dealing with:Insurance benefits authorizationPrior Authorization approvalsAdjudications issuesCoverage verificationReimbursement issuesClaim processing Cash Handling - pharmacy registerData entry of prescriptionsDispensing prescriptions
TOP FIVE RESPONSIBILITIESInput prescription and verify appropriate informationMake outbound calls to patients, pharmacists, doctor's offices and insurance companies.Successfully resolve claim issues, coverage verification, and adjudication issues in a timely manner.Process around 350 prescriptions on a daily basis with 98.5% accuracy rate.Work with management to continually improve performance and customer satisfaction.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (PHARMACY)General knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations.Good mathematical skills in order to make basic calculations.Enter prescriptions - Typing 45- 50 WPM.General knowledge of all state and federal regulatory requirements (HIPAA Medicare Part D, State Board of Pharmacy)
