SUPERVISOR OUTPATIENT PHARMACY

Qualifications: Current CA Registered Pharmacist License. B.S. in Pharmacy required, Pharm. D. preferred. Two (2) year's Pharmacy management, supervisory, and/or functional direction experience, preferably in an Outpatient pharmacy setting preferred. Demonstrable knowledge of contemporary outpatient pharmacy operations, including clinical, professional, legal, business, and public relations aspects. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK. Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment. Demonstrable self initiative and innovation, and the ability to collaborate with others. Demonstrable ability to utilize verbal and written communication skills. Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of applicable Federal and State pharmacy regulations. Demonstrable ability to lead and work as a member of a professional team. Ability to learn and operation PC and pharmacy computer system(s). Ability to lift/transport items of up to 25 lbs. Must be able to type prescription labels.


Preferred Qualifications: Previous supervisory or functional direction experience preferred. Knowledge of KPMCP organizational goals, objectives, and standards.


Duties: Ensures compliance with Federal & State laws, regulation, and standards regarding the provision of pharmaceutical services, and Divisional Pharmacy objectives, policies, and procedures. Assists with the development and implementation of strategic initiatives. Responsible for the day to day operations of assigned work area(s), function(s), and service(s). Performs other duties as required. Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (Kaiser Permanente's Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements (if applicable), and Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.


Notes: Work schedule to vary as required. Position requires occasional travel to other KPMCP and non-KPMCP locations for meetings, training, etc.
