Assistant Director of Nursing
Noland Health Services, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to identifying and meeting the health needs of the people and communities it serves by providing high quality health and educational services in a compassionate, efficient, and effective manner. The organization is a pioneer in establishing special services and programs to meet the needs of the elderly and other unique patient populations. Noland Health Services has locations throughout Alabama.
Responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing Services (DON) in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of Nursing Services for senior residents in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility and as may be directed by the DON to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of Alabama. Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN license.
Must have, as a minimum, 1 year of experience as a charge nurse, supervising others in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility. Must have, as a minimum, 2 years experience in geriatric nursing. Must possess CPR certification within thirty (30) days of employment.
