Cardiology Office RN

Tired of long hospital shifts-need weekends off?! This is a great cardiology practice in north Dallas seeking FT or PT RN with preferred background in clinical cardiology-hospital or outpatient settings. Position Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:30P,including benefits (Medical/Vac/Sick/Holiday/ 401K)Duties include phone and office interface with pts-including managing pts in anticoagulation clinic and B/P checks . Job tasks also include acting as pt liaison to seven busy cardiologists including following protocol for common questions by phone. Also informing pt of test results and teaching cardiology related issues such as diet, chol mgmt, medication compliance and explaining cardiac diseases. Usually at one location but occasional travel to nearby branch offices-including Plano.
