Clinical Liaison

 DESCRIPTIONAs a member of the sales team, generate patient admissions, from hospital based referral sources, promote growth of admissions over time and take personal responsibility for meeting specific admission goals on a weekly basis. Establish and maintain significant professional relationships with key physicians and hospital personnel. Work closely with Community Education Representatives to meet growth and development targets and actively establish and maintain market acceptance and allegiance. Explain Odyssey?s services to patients and families in a manner that results in the admission of appropriate patients. Interact with patients, families, and referral sources. Oversee pending patients (referrals) and routinely follow the progress of prospective patients. Work closely with patient care teams in transitioning patients as they are admitted to Odyssey services.REQUIREMENTS

1. Registered Nurse licensed in the state.

2. Bachelor?s degree and C.H.P.N. certification preferred.

3. Minimum of three years general nursing required with current Hospice, home health, medical, surgical or critical care experience preferred.

4. Three or more years of sales experience in the health care industry with a demonstrated history of positive sales results preferred.

5. Knowledge of clinical manifestations of diseases and ability to develop hospice-specific clinical knowledge.

6. Understanding of Hospice philosophy and the principles of death and dying.
