Clinical Manager

Overview : 1CD, Surgical Tele day shift Clinical Manager.

Responsibilities :

Plans and provides clinical support to patients and staff; in addition provides clinical leadership, financial and personnel management within the department. Supervises employees, and participates in selection, orientation, counseling and evaluation of staff. In addition, participates in quality improvement processes in the department. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to organize and provide care appropriate to the age of patients served in assigned unit.

Qualifications :

Requires a registered nurse with a current license. BSN or healthcare related Bachelor's degree is preferred. Demonstrated leadership ability and at least three years of clinical experience relevant to the patient poplulation and scope of care of the department is required. ACLS certification required. The ability to build and maintain effective communication and working relationships with staff, physicians, patients and their families is required.
