NEEDED IMMEDIATELY: RN with extensive hospital "Quality Management" experience, to assume role of Director of Quality Management Department in Acute Care hospital setting.
To be considered for this Director position you will need an RN background and be experienced in Quality Management and/or Performance Improvement. You will need in-depth knowledge of JCAHO requirements as well as fairly recent "hands-on" experience in dealing with JCAHO.
A new ?Senior Management Team? is being assembled to lead the hospital and this Director position will be a major component of this new management team. In this Director capacity you will be called upon to provide advice and assistance to your associate members of the senior management team with the goal of devising and structuring both long and short term goals leading to the success of the hospital.

We are looking for the individual that possesses the managerial and leadership ability that, in addition to seeing changes and improvements that could/should be made, can also successfully, implement, and integrate these changes/improvements into the system in a successful, non-disruptive manner.

This Director position will be on a "direct report" level to the CEO of the facility.
The position is accompanied by an excellent salary and benefits package and includes an incentive bonus as well. Relocation package is available.
A Brief Overview of the Responsibilities of the Position
As the Quality Management Director you will:
Coordinate and facilitate hospital-wide quality review programs to ensure
proper adherence of JCAHO, and other regulatory requirements, for Utilization
Review, Performance Improvement, Infection Control, and Risk Management
necessary to maintain, and improve where possible, the quality of patient
care.
? Support ongoing quality teams, presentations to payers, investigations,
development and updating of appropriate policies and procedures.
? Report on the performance improvement, and quality review, activities to
medical staff and governing board.
? Coordinates and prepares documents required for regulatory agency survey
(JCAHO, HCFA, state requirements, etc.).
