Licensed Vocational Nurse

Responsibilities :

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, observes and reports the patient's physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge teaching needs. Contributes to plan of care under direction of registered nurese through collaboration with other disciplines. Implements care based on interventions identified in care plan and medical orders. Reports condition of patient, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change in the patient's condition to the RN and/or physician. Documents observations, implementation and evaluation datat in the patient record. Follows safety standards in all aspects of performance of the above essential functions. Exhibits time management and prioritization skills. Ability to demonstrate and act upon critical thinking skills.

Qualifications :

Must possess a current valid California LVN license or teporary California LVN license. BCLS required. Excellent customer service required.
