Utilization Management Nurse-Concurrent Review (RNs/LPNs Needed!)

Key responsibilities of the UM Nurse include:



Performing a wide scope of onsite and telephonic concurrent review to facilitate the safe, successful discharge of patients from facilities


Building relationships with key contacts at each of 12 facilities in Central Phoenix


Working with hospital case managers to gather concurrent review updates


Collaborating with the Medical Director and Clinical Services Manager on various discharge planning efforts



Only Arizona LPNs or RNs will be considered for this role. Utilization review, discharge planning and case management experience is required. A background in inpatient care and field-based nursing is preferred, as is a familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid programs. Computer proficiency is essential.
