Enterprise Sales Manager

 

 

BASIC PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

 

Identify, develop, manage and close direct sales opportunities in the designated territory.  Deliver on quarterly quotas while building a strong and successful territory

 

OVERALL OUTPUTS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

? Manage sales by prospecting, qualifying, and closing direct business sales with hospitals and clinics in the designated territory

? Develop, implement and execute a strategic sales plan for designated territory to achieve assigned orders targets

? Continually identify new customers and contacts and grow the base business

? Identify customer?s technical requirements and position products to the customer?s technical environment

? Develop and present customer presentations

? Work with marketing to share industry news and trends and receive feedback of the same

? Attend industry trade shows as needed

? Manage you territory and track customer activity via a sales tracking database

? Complete various reports to track sales activity

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

 

Reports to:    Zone Sales Director 

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

   

? Bachelor?s degree required (prefer computer science, healthcare, business or marketing)

? Minimum of 5 years experience selling enterprise software in the medical industry

? Must have successful track record with sales quota achievement

? Previous experience working in the medical devise manufacturer strongly desired

? Clinical application experience, including significant experience within the hospital or imaging center CT/MR systems environment or PACS experience preferred.

? Must have 3 years experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Viso would be a plus)

 

 

SKILLS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

 

? Must have strong technical aptitude to understand the technical requirements in various enterprise environments

? Excellent communication skills both written and oral

? Excellent presentation skills

? Must be confident, competitive, goal oriented, self motivated and a team player

? Must have strong relationship building skills

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.  Must be able to travel via plane and drive a car for extended periods of time to cover territory.

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Hours can vary and expand as dictated by project demands. May have to work on weekends as needed (i.e. tradeshows).
