PACS Project Engineer- CT
Immediate openings!! Major PACS vendor located in the northeast seeks two PACS Project Engineers for their Stamford, CT office. ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE PACS NETWORKING EXPERIENCE, (Server, networking, storage, etc.) Ideal candidate will have previous PACS, DICOM experience.Open positions include a Validation Engineer and a Pre staging Engineer position.
Will have responsibilities for the setup, configuration, loading of PACS servers and workstations. This will happen in a pre-stage capacity at corporate headquarters and in conjunction with a PACS installation at customer sites. Responsible for development, management, updating of PACS implementation tools to include but not limited to implementation plan templates, RIS risk assessment, Network specification documents, test and acceptance plan, Intranet communication sites, Pre-Installation Guide, Modality Conformance Statements etc.
Full Description: Excellent compensation and benefits package, base salary $85k to $105k range. Position requires limited to no travel, position located in Stamford, CT. ESSENTIAL?Experience in a technical engineering role. Responsibilities:?Setup, configuration, loading, troubleshooting of NT servers and workstations at company headquarters and customer sites? Develop, update, and maintain PACS implementation tools and documentation. Develop systems for document control and management.?Develop, update, and maintain PACS Intranet Web Site.?Coordinate activities and communication between the Project Implementation teams and Marketing/Sales/Engineering. Point of contact for the dissemination of information from headquarters to field teams.? Develop templates and footprints for the PACS product line.?Be the headquarters point of contact for the Implementation Teams for quick documentation and resolution of field issues and problems.?
