Medical Technician / Medical Records Clerk

Advanced Lipo Dissolve Center (ALDC) is a comprehensive approach to providing the latest and most advanced scientific procedures and therapies for the permanent dissolution of unwanted fat and cellulite.  ALDC was formed by a group of specialized doctors, medical practitioners and investors in June of 2005 in St. Louis, Missouri.  Plans are now underway to open centers in Kansas City, Las Vegas, Scottsdale, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, Denver, Atlanta and Indianapolis, with the first three expansion centers open by mid-2006.

 

ALDC Corporate in St. Louis, MO is currently seeking Medical Technicians and a Medical File Clerk for our Scottsdale, AZ location. 

 

Med Tech Responsibilities:Set-up stock rooms, inventory suppliesAssist in medication roomPerform VelaSmooth (per protocol) and maintain equipmentAssist patient with Medifast as neededCommunicate needs to RN dailyAssist with proceduresEscort patient to roomTake vital signs ? document on treatment sheetDocument area to be treatedMeasure and photograph new/existing clientsAssist provider during entire procedure as neededDischarge patients from room with instructionsClean Room

 

Medical File Clerk Responsibilities:Responsible for locating and filing all medical records for patient appointments according to office policies and proceduresFile information/correspondence in patient's medical record after provider's review and signatureMaintain medical record files in proper sequence according to office policies and proceduresMaintain regular and consistent attendance at workPerform other duties as requested by Clinic Coordinator to facilitate the smooth and effective operations of the office.

 

Med Tech Qualifications:1-3 years experience in a medical officeAssociates degree/Certificate preferred or cumulative experienceMust have stable work history (at least 1 full year at previous job)Professional appearance/demeanorExcellent communication skillsOutgoing, friendly, positive attitudeTeam player who is equally comfortable working independentlyMust have outstanding initiative and ability to perform with little supervision

 

Medical File Clerk Qualifications:High School Graduate or equivalentOne year in related health care, medical record or medical office experienceExcellent organizational skillsMust be computer literate and possess good typing/keyboarding skillsMust have stable work history (at least 1 full year at previous job)Professional appearance/demeanorExcellent communication skillsOutgoing, friendly, positive attitudeTeam player who is equally comfortable working independentlyMust have outstanding initiative and ability to perform with little supervision
