Physical Therapist-Central California-Balance and Vestibular

San Joaquin Valley Rehabilitation, a Vibra Healthcare facility, is a leader in Physical Rehabilitation. We are a 62-bed acute care facility providing rehab around the clock in a team-oriented environment. In addition to our IP setting we have 5 Out patient clinics in and around the Fresno area with several speciality niches. We are located in Central CA which offers affordable housing, great schools and a good quality of life; hiking, skiing, and watersports are just a short drive away.

We have a great new and RARE opportunity for a PT in our outpatient facility who would like to work in a center that is exclusively seeing balance and vestibular patients. We have a medical director specifically for this site; we are midstream in a research project with optokinetics; our staff are Vestibular Competent through "Susan Herdman's vestibular competency program". This is a great exciting opportunity for the therapist who enjoys working with balance and vestibular patients or would like further growth and mentoring in this area. We plan to fill this by mid to late August but will hold out slightly longer for the right candidate.

 

REQUIREMENTS1.Education
Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy curriculum with a Bachelor?s or Masters degree.

2.Professional Experience
No previous experience required, however one year experience is preferred. Background in balance and vestibular experience a huge plus!

3.Technical Skills
Ability to work independently and effectively as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills to interact with physicians, patient/caregivers, ancillary staff, vendors, and outside agencies.
