Speech Pathologist

Sun Health Boswell Hospital is recruiting for a Speech Language Pathologist.

 

Must be a graduate of a recognized accredited school of Speech Language Pathology and have a current Speech Therapist license in Arizona (ASHLA Accreditation, CCC-SLP) Ability to clearly speak, write and understand verbal and written English.  Selected skills/credentials as defined by the departments scope of services.

  Overview:

 

  Review request for Speech Therapy services and physician?s order

    Interview patients to determine type of treatment and schedule therapy.

Select rehabilitative and therapeutic activities and exercises based on medical and social history of patient

Evaluate type of therapy most desirable after consulting with physician

  Prepare care plan and participate in plan of care rounds with other team members

  Brief patient of Speech Therapy treatment plan and document accordingly

Prepare equipment needed, treat and teach patient per  Speech Therapy treatment plan.
