Event Planner

International Marketing Company seeking personable, organized and creative individual as an in-house, fulltime Event and meeting planner.  This position will be responsible for all aspects of planning from scheduling speakers to negotiating contracts.  Qualified candidates will have 2-5 years experience in event planning.  Successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to multi-task, prioritize and cultivate relationships; the ability to plan and execute timelines, budgets and quality standards. 

 

Event Planner will handle all facets of planning for events:

 

? Site selection, contract negotiation, on-site fulfillment.

? Frequent travel can be involved and late hours are to be expected as necessary.

? Assist with the planning and execution of all logistical elements

? Carefully monitor costs to stay within meeting budget
